SMEs Management License Program
According to the official report of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Egypt are forming about 99.8 % of the projects, and they contribute in 85% of total employment.
Despite the massive interest of the Egyptian government in SMEs and the initiative of the central bank Financing 200 billion Egyptian pounds with 5% concessional interest, 70% of them are subjected to failure for several reasons, including:
1-Funding Sources (Despite of the initiative of the central bank , banks often refuse funding the SMEs due to the lack of adequate guarantees and the weak feasibility study).
2- Wrong selection for the Startup project idea.
3- Failure in selecting and developing the appropriate business model.
4- Failure to develop the business plan.
5- Lack of utilization of the human resources.
6- No forecast for the potential risks.
7- Insufficient understanding of the financial basis.
8-Lack of understanding market requirements.
9- Insufficient knowledge of Internet and digital marketing.
10- Problems in dealing with E-commerce and International Marketing.
1- SMEs Management License program
The program is designed to encourage the transfer of knowledge and the economic development with the aim of advancing the small enterprises sector which is characterized by competitiveness and economic feasibility and the ability to make profits, as well as stimulate development in the entrepreneurial sector in Egypt. In order to achieve the objectives of this program, entrepreneurs are provided by the best ways to help them identify and evaluate business opportunities and how to create and manage a small business on the way to ensure its continuity and success and to avoid the potential risks in startup in addition to avoid the causes of failure .
2- Program Objectives
Qualifying those wishing to invest in small projects and helping them to establish and manage their projects professionally by achieving the following goals:
1- Developing the trainee culture and his/her ability to deal with labor market variables.
2- Deepening the idea of self-employment and developing the trend towards establishing commercial activities on successful foundations for youth.
3- Rehabilitation of youth wishing to work for small and medium enterprises.
4- The trainee acquires the basic skills to identify and develop the investment ideas In small projects.
5- Training on how to prepare a business plan for setting up a small business and getting to know ways to get financing.
6- Helping the trainee preparing an integrated business plan for his project and how to face the most important challenges and manage his project successfully.
7- Using the latest software and technology.
8- Avoiding failure reasons.
9- Increasing trust between financiers (banks included in the central bank initiative) and the SMEs.

40 hours using the computer and the Internet

The program is designed to be provided both in English and Arabic

1- Introduction to the concept of entrepreneurship and how to select a project idea.
2- Selecting the appropriate business model
3- How to develop the business plan.
4-Assessing and forecasting the potential risks
5- Understanding the financial basis
6- Managing and best utilizing of the human resources
7- Understanding the market requirements
8- Providing students with the appropriate knowledge of Internet and digital marketing.
9- How to create a website
10- Studying forms of electronic commerce and ways to benefit from online business.
11- Practical training and workshops are done using computer and internet programs.
12- Creating a page on the Internet to publish the scientific material and make contacts with the scholars finishing the training
program to follow-up what is new in the field of managing small and medium companies.
13- Each trainee is given a free page on the Internet during program.
14- The trainee is given technical support for one year after finishing the program.
15- At the end of the program, the trainee is granted the SMEs Management License.
8- The Headquarters of the Implementation of the license program
The program will be implemented at the headquarter of Science & Technology United Consultants (STUC) in Alexandria and the governorates.
